Tech wise there isn't really anything unique about the G80 that makes it an outlier in the segment. We see the same sort of features and options in most models in this class, though they do come a bit cheaper here.

"New" G80

the new G80 will make this outgoing model look old and very fast, design wise its a clear win but at least these older ones will be a great used buy
Is there a new G80 coming? When? The "outgoing" model is the 2019 model, isn't it?

Regardless, these same features are on most upper tier models even in Honda Accords and comparable vehicles. They are often options on European luxury cars. Most luxury cars in US now include them as standard, such as Continental I believe. If not now, soon anyway.

Its this beast right here. There couldn't be a better time to bring these changes.

We've only see the new model in spy shots, but you can already tell from the cladding that its a heavy redesign. Only half of the expected dealers have signed on to sell Genesis products, so you should be seeing more open up in the coming months.

Thanks Plug. Still undecided about the front end-too much "grille", but noticed in video that they had something across mid-front for a plate of some kind. I guess it is a mesh type, but to me just too much of it and actually has little real purpose. Will have to wait and see one in person, assuming I can locate a reasonably close dealer.

I'm willing to get over it.

I come from a history of owning Lexus vehicles and the transition to the new grille didn't go over well with me but now i'm content after seeing it in a few examples (LC and LS are my favorites)

Thanks for video Plug. I think I agree with El Cid on the front grille. Does seem to be a Lexus/Acura giant grille design mutation to me. Once Acura did that years ago, I stopped buying their cars. I'll take a wait and see approach.
