The 2020 Genesis G80 debut has been delayed until next year
It looks like the new G80's debut has been delayed...again.
According to The Korean Car Blog, the G80 will now debut sometime in early 2020 instead of this month.

Today we have very bad news about the third generation Genesis G80, according to our industry sources, the new G80 was delayed again (remember that were set to debut on April and then on September) and once again we need to wait to earlier 2020.
According to the last interview of Genesis Boss Manfred Fitzgerald with Car and Driver, he finally confirmed. "We will have a brand-new G80 coming out this September in Korea and subsequently on global markets. With that car, you will see the next evolution of our design language," Fitzgerald added.
But now our informer told us that were postponed again till 2020. The issue is not confirmed yet, but the two new engines, the 2.5-liter Turbo Theta III and 3.5-liter Turbo Lambda III could have caused this new delay.
