Hyundai's luxury brand, Genesis, has recently debuted the 2018 Genesis G80 Sport at the ongoing North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Introduced with a coat of spicy red paint, the Genesis G80 Sport will be powered by a new 3.3-litre twin turbo, direct injection V6. Mated to a sport-tuned eight-speed automatic transmission, the vehicle has 365 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque on tap. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but buyers can go for the optional all-wheel drive system and upgraded suspension.

Living up to its Sport name is an updated exterior with new front and rear bumpers, special 19-inch wheels and quad pipes. Even the cabin features unique leather sport seats and genuine carbon fibre trim.

Like other Genesis vehicles, the G80 Sport will come with Genesis Connected Services and a suite of safety aids including multi-view camera, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection and Driver Attention Alert.

Pricing and full specifications have not been released yet, but in their press release Genesis stated that the information will be made available when we're closer to the G80 Sport sale date.

Lady in Red, looks amazing in that color and lighting. Would really need to see more of a raw photograph of it though in the outdoors.

I'm inclined to see the quality of the multi-view camera in the day and in the night time though.

A lot of new Hyundai's and Genesis models look great in red, the design language they have seems to really resonate with that color and similar tones. However if you're like me, live in the south and have your vehicle exposed to the sun a lot, very soon that red will go dull.

Red is very sensitive:

I wouldn't say red is very sensitive but red is extremely noticeable when it goes dull opposed to other colors. Remember, that's all clear coat damage. Nothing base coat.
