Greetings. Just picked up an 18, G80, 5.0 Ultimate AWD. Love the car and the value for the money. Traded my 2010 MB S550 4 magic in. So far very happy. Bought it at Colonial Genesis in Downingtown, PA. Have 3 friends with G models and all are happy.

Not new to forums, but new to this one. Anxious to learn and share.

I can bet that owning something that won't cost an arm and a leg to repair is one of them.

Those S-Class sedans lose value like crazy and for good reason

I guess its one more reason to be thankful for discussion boards like this where we can find out what works. Sadly bad dealers are part of the experience for some and something Genesis doesn't need, of all automakers. Launching sedans in a dying sedan market was a bad idea already. Bad dealer experience just makes it worse.

I traded in a BMW 745LI to Lease the Genesis 2016 3.8...This car was fantastic at the 50,000. plus when I traded it in and bought a 2018 sport..This car is way faster but doesn't get the comment's the 2016 got everyday. People don't know what they are missing! Making the car look like everything else out there doesn't help their cause.
It looks like the C class Mercedes now!

That's the beauty of owning from a brand that has a lot to prove and cash flow to allow them.
Back in the 90's it was Japanese automaker in that position, now its Korean automakers. Koreans are even outpacing the Japanese today!
