Happy to report key went through full wash cycle today and works perfectly... could have been an expensive error!

Good thing your G80 is a 2019 model and well within the standard warranty term. Did you find out how much parts and labor would be if it wasn't?

How much longer do you plan to keep it? next-gen models are very nice... would be surprised if you're not considering the upgrade!
