Hyundai/Genesis is pretty good with giving car buyers an extra gift in the mail after making a purchase and one of them is an Echo Dot. This seems to be the go to gift for the G80. Did anyone get theirs in the mail yet?

Received an "echo dot" in early May 2018. Leased our G80 5 in mid April. This is our 3rd Genesis 2011, 15, and a 18 all V-8's

I've seen these as low as $50 up on Amazon, so I don't know how much of a long term incentive this is going to provide. Imo if they want to offer something an equal value gift card is probably the way to go. You don't see GM doing anything like this for their customers.

They should give us stuff that relate to the vehicle and are stuff highly sought after like a special limited edition ignition key, who doesn't want that?

Some people have also mentioned receiving $100 gift cards and Genesis branded fountain pens. These aren't going to make or break a sale, but its nice way for them to show appreciation for early adopters of their products.

Hyundai has been giving out something like a trunk organizer or insulated bag with most new vehicle purchases. This is just one way that they hope to provide a better customer experience than one expects from a premium brand.

the echo dot was related to the vehicle, they were giving it away as a way to promote the Genesis app within Alexa allowing you to remote start your car from the Dot verbally.
