This is pretty big news for Genesis, they recently hired Filippo Perini to lead their Advanced Design Studio Europe.

For those who aren't as familiar with Perini, he's worked with Italdesign and Lamborghini. He worked on the designs of the 2006 Miura Concept, Reventón, Estoque, Aventador, Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera, Urus, Aventador J, Veneno, Huracán, and Asterion LPI 910-4.

This could lead to some big design changes from Genesis going forward.

Hopefully this means we can finally get some Genesis performance models that look and move fast.
My opinion.
The direction they are taking the model is down!!
Hope whoever this guy is can bring the car back to the 2016 models that everyone thinks is a Bentley.

In what particular ways do you think the G80 is going in the wrong direction?
My 2019 G80 3.3T Sport

I am happy with my G80.

Especially as a touring car, since I often make long-distance rides in the car. If the G80 gets re-designed in the future, so be it.

I will upgrade my car then.

I figure I will hold on to it for 4 or 5 years.

For now, the car gets lots of admirable stares from those who do not know what it is, and I tell them: "It is a Genesis!"

And then I tell them where the dealer is nearest to them.

By the way, my son has a 2019 G70 Sport :smile2:
