Courtesy of Morrie's 394 Genesis Hyundai, this comparison looks at the G80 and G90's interior, exterior, engine options and how each one drives. He also claims that either of the two models will give you more bang for your buck compared to their German rivals.

The comparison video is great for those who are on the fence between the G80 and G90 as it does point out the various difference between them.

For a more engaging drive, the G80 may be the better option especially the 5.0L DOHC V8 engine in rear-wheel drive. This model has 420 hp on tap and a hefty 383 lb. ft of torque. Those who are looking for more space, interior comfort, and better luxury features may be interested in the G90. It includes an Intelligent Drive Mode with Smart Shift, Electric Power Steering with Variable Gear ratio, 3-zone automatic temperature control system and power reclining rear seats, and optional multi-view 360 camera.

Whilst driving the G80, he notes that drivers may not "notice a huge difference" compared to German rivals like the BMW 5-Series or an Audi A6 and the interior layout is more ergonomically compared to a BMW. He even takes a stab at German reliability. You'll also be saving a lot of money by going with Genesis instead of a German brand.

What does everyone think of his comparison?

He mentions the G90 is ideal for commutes from the suburbs to city but that shouldn't take away from anyone wanting to drive this just about anywhere since it's just a whole different experience. Only city situations you would find this hard in is with tight parking, aside from that you're in the clear. It's the same reason why someone who can afford an S-Class will get just that, instead of an E-Class.

I definitely like more of an engaging drive, and with the smaller size and can still get the 5.0 in it, call it a day. The G90 is what I would get if I was doing more of picking up clients and driving around the city and what not though.
