G70 is COTY
While this is about the G70 rather than the G80, it is a definite win for Genesis for the G70 to be Motor Trend/sCar of the Year.
For me the biggest (only?) drawback to Genesis is the lack of dealerships. Even though they have valet/loaner service, it is only good for three years . I keep my cars longer than that.
Also, not too sure I would be comfortable with a "car jockey" driving my car 50+ miles in morning and then evening through rush hour traffic on our very congested interstate.
Ironically, I would drive past 3 Hyundai dealerships before getting to the Genesis one. Right now they can do routine service on a G80, but no warranty work and no valet/loaner service.
