Does she or doesn' she

I have recently entered the world on G80 3.8. After I acquired the car I found out that there many models. I thought that G80 came as a 3.8, a 5.0 and a 3.3. I chose the 3.8. Now I find out that there are multiple versions of the 3.8.
I have the one with the Touch screen. I do not have a knob behind the Gear stick. So, in the space where I should have a button for Parking Distance Warnings I have a BLANK. Customer Care cannot figure it out as they say, "It's a big safety Feature. They would not leave it out! It must be somewhere"
Next, on my Navigation settings... about traffic detours. I have a choice. In the settings I can tell the car to take the detour and say nothing. Or don't take the detour unless the user (me) gives permission, And last is to ignore the traffic Data. YES I have SiriusXM Traffic connected and if I wish, I can look at it. When I look at it it will offer a detour if there is one.
Meanwhile, I find nothing in any of the manuals about this. In the last 5 days of driving in traffic I have seen a dialog about a better way to go, 4 times. It was asking my permission. But it happened just 4 times total even though I made 10 trips that were exactly the same.

I need help in understanding these issues. Customer care is nt help here as they don't know.
Does anyone know about either of my immediate issue?

Did you buy your G80 from a Genesis dealer or a used car lot? I can see why this issue would happen when buying used.

A new G80 is coming out so maybe down the road you can upgrade to that and possibly solve a lot of your problems.
Its for reasons like this I still look towards BMW as their iDrive system had many years to be refined meanwhile Hyundai/Genesis hasn't has a much time.

But is it worth the trade off of everything else for and against buying from those brands?
I think not.

Had a few German vehicles myself and higher cost to buy, higher cost of ownership and potential for trouble just isn't worth it.

Valid point.
Fortunately Hyundai Blue Link is getting positive reviews although some Veloster owners report issues. Owners of other Hyundai's might be too but I haven't looked that far.
Has anyone compared it to GM's OnStar service?
