Periodically the ac just stops blowing out of vents. The air is still blowing in dash. Its as if a flap in the duct work closes. Then eventually it starts working again. They changed the blower when I told them that was not the problem of coarse.Any help please reply its still under warranty.

I have the same issue (also 2018 G80) and had it for over a year. It always happens when I'm driving on the highway for over 30 minutes. The air sounds like it's clogged and the wind stops blowing from the vents. They have replaced nearly every part, but it keeps happening. They have said there were shorts and often couldn't replicate the problem unless they took it for a few days. I have little faith this will ever get fixed.
Brought it back to shop currently waiting for a actuator to be changed.Have they ever changed one on your car?
Yes. The actuator has been changed out. I've read a number of people who have had this same issue and it usually occurs on the highway, shortly after it rains, while it's raining, or if it's very humid out. I'm bringing it back in, today, to try again. I've taken to video recording the issue to prove it because it has to be driven for about 39 minutes to replicate the issue.
Add mine to the list. Also a 2018 G80 3.3t. Exactly the same symptoms - on the highway, little air flow regardless of fan setting, lots of noise, especially from the passenger side of the dash. Less than 14,000 miles on the car.
Genesis had my car for the last week and a half. They were able to witness the problem and I hope they finally fixed it. They said the actuator door was getting stuck and replaced it. I'll know soon enough.
Same issue here with my 2018 G80 Ultimate. Three times into the dealer. Replaced actuator last week and it acted up again. Only when it is hot out and the car has been running for about an hour. Car has to fully settle down before it will return to "normal".

Did you get this figured out? Mine is doing the same thing.

Did this take care of the issue?

Just experienced the same problem described in this thread and its at the dealer now. Has it been determined what is causing it and has anyone had it fixed?
dealer had it for 3 days and could not find the problem. Now I have a car that is defective and Genesis will not fix it. I have called Genesis four times with no success.
Add another frustrated 2018 G80 owner. Exactly the same description, air flow reduced to nearly nothing after an hour or so on the road, hot day, stop or turn the a/c off for a few minutes, and it is working again. Has anyone had success getting this fixed?
Stuart FL, same AC problems, not a temp issue, but a plumbing issue as loud blowing noise from pax side dash but little if any air from vents. Tried changing vent to windshield, feet, combo, to no avail. Turn system off for several minutes until dripping sweat, no change. System seems to shift to this mode after some 20 mins of driving at highway speed. Dealer tried to get it to happen by driving around parking lot , not going to happen there. This seems like a poor system component affecting many G80s. I am going to look to another car and not a Genesis. Nothing in the posts above cite any solution to this problem. Each time it happens, a new problem with a good customer begins, with waste of time at dealer, etc. Hyundai should step up on this problem, and at least inform service teams of issue and solution!! Duh??
Same AC problems as above: Wallace Motors, Stuart says Evap temp sensor needs replacement- part ordered - tomorrow fix to be made.
Exact same AC problem you are ll describing. Anyone find a solution yet?
Anybody out there? Wondering if A's evap temp señor and/or HWENG's actuator door solved this problem.......

Did that fix your problem? I have same.
