Genesis has finally announced pricing on for their 2018 G80 lineup, which consists of the entry level, Sport, and Ultimate trims.
For the 2018 model year, the entry level G80 saw a small price bump of $375 to $42,725 apiece (including $975 destination). Powering the rear-drive sedan is a 3.8-liter V-6 engine, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission it sends 311 hp and 293 lb-ft of torque to the G80's redesigned 18-inch alloy wheels.
It also comes with a large range of standard features including HID headlights with LED daytime running lights, 8.0-inch infotainment screen with navigation and Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, heated front seats, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, and more. Of course they've also included standard active safety and driver assist technology.
One step up is the G80 Sport with a 365-hp twin-turbo 3.3-liter V-6 engine, rear-wheel-drive setup and a $56,225 price tag. To match its Sport badge, this trim is equipped with upgraded rear brake rotors, retuned dampers, tinted taillights, quad tailpipes, a set of multispoke 19-inch wheels and the front facia gets a unique grille design. For an extra $2500, you can get the G80 Sport with all-wheel drive.
Sitting at the top is the $57,975 G80 Ultimate with a 5.0-liter GDI V-8 engine, cranking out 420 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission sends all that power to the rear wheels, but HTRAC all-wheel-drive system is available for all trim levels including this one.
