Depending on the price difference, I would prefer to get the 5.0L V8 variant because of the extra horsepower it provides and I want to get it with AWD if possible. It's just what I'm used to and perfect for the winter.

The 2017 Genesis G80 will be arriving in dealership in August.
Pricing will be announced next week sometime says Hyundai. But they have given a bit of information.
Available in the choice of RWD or AWD
The base G80 comes powered by a 3.8L V6 producing 311hp mated to an eight speed automatic
Buyers can also go for the 5.0L V8 however that produces 420hp mated to the same eight speed automatic as above.
Long list of standard safety features include blind-spot detection, smart cruise control, rear-view camera, and automatic emergency braking.
Other options are a HUD, and a 14 speaker Lexicon audio system

The V8 and AWD paired would be beautiful for the winter time. Nice and heavy as well so you really have no worries. The price difference would be something to look at but I'm going to go ahead and throw a range of maybe $4-$8k difference ??
